For the fourth year, French Trade Commission - Ubifrance in Australia will present a selection of talented French fashion designers at Australia’s fashion premier tradeshow, Fashion Exposed – Preview. This event will take place from Sunday 6th to Tuesday 8th of March 2011 at The Sydney Exhibition & Convention Centre, Darling Harbour. For this occasion the brand Inoui Paris-Delhi will be showcasing the latest trends on the French Pavilion.
Lise, Martine, Mathilde et Eulalie, the four French women behind emerging accessory label Inoui Paris-Delhi, share a passion for natural fibres and are constantly inspired by the colours and shapes of nature. The collection of cotton, silk and fine wool scarves, both woven and embroidered, are whimsical and colourful; a real delight to the eye. The dainty silver jewellery pieces, studded with semi-precious stones, beg to be worn. From their own diverse experiences in Asia the four women chose India as the place where their dreams for Inoui would come to life – a place where they could harness the unique skills and expertise of the local artisans. The result is a collection that oozes Parisian charm, while remaining accessible at price points that would sit well in most fashion, lifestyle and gift boutiques. Having taken Europe by storm over the last two seasons, Inoui Paris-Delhi is now poised to launch into the Australian market at Preview Sydney 2011 - with the help of their new local importer/distributor, DNC International.

Pare Gabia is considered to be one of the world’s most famous espadrille brands. For over 70 years the company has been based in Sainte Marie de Gosse in the south of France, the home of the espadrille shoe. Most shoes are hand sewn to join the canvas to the sole and it is this experienced workmanship that gives this brand its famous durability. In recent years the designers at Pare Gabia have concentrated on radical re-designs of the classic espadrille style, incorporating wedged heels and ballet style uppers, unusual canvases and fine leathers. More recently again the range has expanded to include men’s and kid’s footwear, stylish bags and totes, and even leather boots for Winter!
The Pare Gabia Spring-Summer 2011 collection, shown by DNC International at Preview Sydney 2011, is one of their best collections yet, featuring even more interpretations of the current season hot wedge and ballet flat styles, plus an extraordinary colour palette and some pretty liberty prints. A must see!
