Gérard Schiro is an artisanal producer honey based in Tarbes, at the foot of the Pyrenean mountains. He founded API-CULTURE LLC in the 1980s, taking over his parents' bee exploitation. He now has over 200 hives in various parts of the South-West of France, which allow him to collect flavoured and scented nectars from various blossoms.
The variety of honey depends on the vegetal resources surrounding the apiary. Practices that respect the bees and their environment also have a great influence on the quality of the end product.
Mr Schiro uses his family experience to offer you a range genuine and gourmet products: from the wild flower honey, light in colour with a soft mellow taste, to the Pyrenean heather honey, with a unique, strong full bodied flavour, and many more!!
These honeys are put in jar as soon as they are collected from the beehives and are completely natural. Fresh from the hives to you!
