Since 1898, the CCEF (Conseillers du Commerce Extérieur de la France - French Foreign Trade Advisors) are French businessmen, chosen among the best known executives, in France and abroad, and appointed by a decree signed by the French Prime Minister for a three-year renewable term.

All over the world, 4300 French Foreign Trade Advisors commit themselves -on a purely voluntary basis- to work pro bono and to assist the French Administration in setting its trade policy, as well as French businesses in developing their activities abroad.

The CCEF Section of Malaysia comprises of some 20 voluntary members belonging to the most respected French Business community in Malaysia.

Every 2 years, the various CCEF sections in all ASEAN countries organize a joint forum, gathering between 200 and 400 CCEF and other French Business people from all horizons.

The 2011 edition of this ASEAN forum will be held in Kuala Lumpur, on November 27 and 28th.

The Malaysian French Chamber of Commerce and Industry (MFCCI) is a non-profit and self-funding organization, created in 1991.

MFCCI is affiliated to UCCIFE (Union des Chambres de Commerces Françaises à l’Etranger), a worldwide network of 114 French Chambers operating in 78 countries. It also works closely with ACFCI (Assemblée des Chambres Françaises de Commerce et d’Industrie).

With a Head Office based in Kuala Lumpur and a branch office recently opened in East Malaysia (Kota Kinabalu), MFCCI is representing over 200 companies members with business interests in France and Malaysia, from various sectors, forming a dynamic and powerful business network.

Our main purpose is to develop relations between MFCCI members and the Malaysian business community, and to encourage, facilitate and support trade and investments between France and Malaysia, by focusing on an efficient business networking, and by staying focused on the constant improvement of the services we offer to our members.
