Flagship "Betjeman & Barton" tea room opened in Malaysia

French luxury tea merchant, Betjeman & Barton (B&B) opened its first flagship tea room on  June 2014 at 1Utama Shopping Mall. First  established in Paris in 1919, B&B has since then open more than 20 outlets around the world spanning from France, Belgium, Canada, Holland, Switzerland, Japan to Singapore.   Le Monde Fashion Group, the Master Franchisee of B&B for Malaysia, plans to open more outlets in strategic locations nationwide. 

Launch of Maison Francis Kurkdjian boutique in Malaysia

On June 18th,  Award winning Parisian perfume house   Maison Francis Kurkdjian   (MFK) launched its latest boutique with an exclusive preview at Pavilion KL. VIP guests including Datin Paduka Marina Mahatir, H.E Martine Dorance and Antoine Bakhache were present to officiate the opening of MFK’s second boutique in Malaysia. CEO of MFK, Marc Chaya had also flown in especially for the event to meet loyal patrons and guests of MFK. Like its flagship store in Grand Hyatt Kuala Lumpur, the new boutique will be offering the full range of MFK’s luxury fragrances, home scents and accessories. Source :

After Bangkok and Singapore , the French ready - to-wear brand is now available in Malaysia.  Global Retail Venture Sdn Bhd opened the first outlet at Parkson Pavilion in June 2013 . Sinéquanone already has nearly 35 outlets in Asia. While many French luxury brands are present in Malaysia , the arrival of French stores like Sinéquanone is quite new .

New record for the Peugeot brand in Malaysia

05/10/2011 KUALA LUMPUR: Sales of Peugeot-brand cars in Malaysia is expected to continue growing with the launch of Peugeot 508 by Nasim Sdn Bhd, later this month. In a statement today, Nasim said sales, thus far, has been overwhelming. "As at end-September, we have sold over 4,000 units which is a new record for the Peugeot brand in Malaysia. "This is double our sales in the same period in 2010 and surpasses our all-time record of 3,773 units sold in 2009," said Nasim Chief Executive Officer and Joint Group Executive Chairman of Naza Group SM Nasarudin SM Nasimuddin. He said the all-new 508 would further increase the company’s sales volume this year. "This premium luxury sedan will be targeted at executives and professionals that want a car with class, character and panache," Nasaruddin said. He added the highly-anticipated new launch for this year would feature the French carmaker’s latest design and technology to offer an exhilarating experience in ride and comfort. Source: Bernama

Louis Vuitton opens its third boutique in The Gardens Mall

It tooks 25 years for Louis Vuitton Malaysia to venture out of Kuala Lumpur into the suburbs. From its first store at the  Hilton Kuala Lumpur to Starhill Gallery and Suria KLCC, the newly-minted boutique in The Gardens Mall, just off the affluent Bangsar neighbourhood, comes at the perfect time. Datuk Michelle Yeoh lent her celebrity power to Louis Vuitton Malaysia on the 2nd of October when she officially opened the luxurious brand’s third store in Malaysia. The new LV store is located on the first floor of The Gardens Mall in Mid Valley City . Michelle was given a grand red carpet welcome by Jean-Baptiste Debains, president of Louis Vuitton Asia Pacific, Jean-Christophe Tevenin, general manager of Louis Vuitton South East Asia, Kathy Lam, general manager of Louis Vuitton Malaysia and Robert Tan, group managing director of IGB Corporation Bhd.
