Descriptif UBIFRANCE Pays-Bas est le service de l’Ambassade de France chargé de l’accompagnement des entreprises françaises sur le marché néerlandais. Constituée d’une équipe bi-culturelle de 11 personnes et organisée autour de quatre filières d’activité, elle propose aux entreprises françaises une gamme complète de produits et services d’accompagnement pour leur développement sur le marché néerlandais. Basé à Amsterdam, notre fait partie du réseau UBIFRANCE dont le siège est à Paris. Composé de 76 bureaux dans le monde, UBIFRANCE constitue le dispositif public d’appui au développement international des entreprises françaises.   Fonction   Poste de Chargé de développement au sein de la filière Infrastructures, Transports, Industrie de la mission Economique Ubifrance d’Amsterdam. Infrastructures, Transports, Industrie est composé de 2 personnes dont 1 chef de filière et un chargé de développement. VEECTOR has created the Secure Individual Transport System (or SIT System®). It is an innovative, efficient and user-friendly device that provides safe travel for passengers riding pillion on motorbikes and scooters. The SIT System® comes in two versions — the PAN-BELT and the SPYDER-BELT — and uses the driver’s weight to secure the passenger. VEECTOR’s innovation is patented and has proved very popular in France; the company is now seeking distributors throughout Europe. VEECTOR’s SIT System® is made of a flexible, non-slip pad that rests on the saddle of the rider at the front. This pad is linked to a sturdy strap that secures the passenger onto the vehicle. The passenger is, therefore, safeguarded in position by the driver’s weight, which rests upon the removable saddle. The saddle provides anchorage according to the difference in weight between the two riders, and so the passenger no longer has to worry about accelerations, bends, or even falling asleep. Although the risk of fall is considerably reduced, in the unlikely event of an accident, the passenger is free to move because, ultimately, he (or she) is neither fastened to the driver nor to the vehicle. In addition to preventing any risk of falling, the system reduces the impact of the passenger’s weight when negotiating bends. Whilst it is an ideal device for children aged five and over, it is also an appropriate device for adults. The first version of the SIT System® is the adjustable PAN-BELT, which can fit waists measuring from 60cm to 1100cm. It fastens around the passenger’s waist and is ideal for use in an urban environment, on medium-sized motorbikes or scooters. There is also a sport version of the SIT System® — the SPYDER-BELT — which goes up to size XXL. The SPYDER-BELT features an adjustable harness that secures the passenger. It provides safety to passengers during sporty driving, lengthy trips and when using powerful motorbikes. This is thanks to optimised support around the torso, which also increases the passenger’s comfort, especially for adults. Since neither the PAN-BELT nor the SPYDER-BELT requires to be fastened to the vehicle, both devices can be installed in under a minute. Their small size makes them easy to store under the saddle, or in a bag. They offer a simple solution for problems relating to transporting a passenger on a motorcycle or scooter. The Pays de la Loire region (in western France) will be present at the EWEA OFFSHORE 2011 trade show in Amsterdam (in The Netherlands), which will take place between 29 November and 1 December. The French region’s pavilion will provide visitors with the opportunity to better understand its offshore-energy sector. The region will also host a conference that will take place at the trade fair on 29 November. On 3 November, ALSTOM announced its decision to set up an industrial site in St Nazaire (in the Pays de la Loire region), with the creation of two production facilities for nacelles and generators of wind turbines. This decision highlights the appeal of the Pays de la Loire region for important industrial projects relating to offshore wind energy and, more generally, to the offshore-renewable-energy sector. Pays de la Loire is intent on taking the lead in the marine-renewable-energy sector in France: its prime objective is to reach 1,400 MW in offshore wind energy produced within the region by 2017, as part of the overall call for tender, in France, which was for 6,000 MW. The region is undertaking various short- and medium-term projects linked to offshore energy. These include SEM-REV, an experimental site which will be located in the open sea and whose aim will be to harness wave energy. SEM-REV will also test the small-size production of offshore wind energy and will be operational from early 2012. SEM-REEF is another of the region’s projects. It will be a test site devoted to floating offshore wind energy and will be one of the few projects aimed at performing life-size experiments. The Institut français de recherche pour l’exploitation de la mer (or IFREMER, the French research institute for the sea) has identified the site as one of the most significant projects to host France Energies Marines , i.e. France’s national offshore renewable-energy platform. The Pays de la Loire region, which faces the Atlantic, on the west coast of France, is fast turning into a premier centre for offshore wind energy: in terms of R&D, industrial capacity and logistics, everything is now in place for the offshore-wind-energy sector to start growing rapidly across the region. The Pays de la Loire has advanced engineering, research and testing facilities. In terms of R&D, the region possesses two flagship institutions. Firstly, there is the Ecole Centrale de Nantes, which is acknowledged throughout Europe for its commitment to the offshore-renewable-energy sector. Secondly, the region has the Jules Verne Wind Tunnel at the Centre Scientifique et Technique du Bâtiment (or CSTB, France’s scientific and technical centre for the construction industry) — a national R&D centre devoted to the interactions between wind and large structures. Several high-technology clusters further strengthen the appeal of Pays de la Loire in the field of renewable energy. The EMC2 cluster of excellence, specialising in metal assemblies and complex composites, runs the world-class Jules Verne Technological Research Institute. This institute is devoted to advanced technology in the production of composites, metals and hybrid structures. It also houses Technocampus Océan, which is a platform focused on innovation in metals, oceanic applications and sea-based forms of energy. Pays de la Loire is also outstanding in terms of logistical services and facilities. The Port of Nantes-Saint-Nazaire is the leading port on France’s Atlantic coast and the fourth most important port in France. It specialises in the transport and handling of large industrial assemblies and heavy freight; it also offers land, which is available for development, as well as infrastructures and logistical facilities that are tailored to the needs of operators.   Van 1 tot 4 november vond in de Amsterdamse RAI de 23 e editie van de Aquatech beurs plaats. Aquatech is ’s werelds meest vooraanstaande vakbeurs op het gebied van proces-, drink- en afvalwater, en bracht dit jaar meer dan 800 exposanten uit 40 landen bijeen. Met 23 bedrijven, waarvan een tiental verdeeld over twee Franse paviljoens, was ook Frankrijk goed vertegenwoordigd. Een groot deel van de Franse bedrijven nam ook al deel aan de laatste editie van Aquatech Amsterdam in 2008. Aquatech biedt bedrijven een goede gelegenheid om hun activiteiten te tonen en potentiële klanten te ontmoeten uit enerzijds Nederland, maar vooral ook uit de rest van de wereld. De volgende editie van Aquatech Amsterdam vindt plaats in 2013.

Het Franse bureau SCET* organiseert elk jaar een studiereis voor directeuren van lokale publieke bedrijven (van grote Franse steden) op het gebied van parkeren, mobiliteit en ruimtelijke ordening.   Op 4,5 en 6 oktober 2011 heeft de Franse Handelsdelegatie in Nederland een studiereis georganiseerd over duurzame mobiliteit, duurzaam parkeren en het concept van duurzame stad, waarbij onderwerpen als “elektrische voertuigen”, duurzaam varen, Amsterdam Smart City, “het gebruik van de fiets” en duurzame wijken de revue zijn gepasseerd. Het doel van dit bezoek was Franse publieke bedrijven en gemeenten kennis te laten maken met de initiatieven die op dit gebied in Nederland bestaan.   De delegatie heeft presentaties gehad van o.a. Gemeente Amsterdam, Programma Amsterdam smart City en Projectbureau IJburg. Er zijn ook bezoeken gebracht aan o.a. de Noord/Zuid lijn in Amsterdam en de: ’Stad van de Zon’ aan de zuidzijde van Heerhugowaard, een nieuw stedelijk gebied dat geheel CO2-emissieneutraal is.         *De SCET is een consultancy voor lokale en regionale overheden en lokale publieke bedrijven die gespecialiseerd zijn in ruimtelijke ordening, services en onroerend goed.  

Op 5 september 2011 heeft de Franse minister van Transport, Thierry Mariani, aangekondigd dat internationale lijnbussen voortaan ook interregionaal personenvervoer mogen verzorgen. Voorheen was het binnen de Europese Unie uitsluitend toegestaan om op het beginpunt van een internationale lijnbus reizigers in te laten stappen, ze konden wel op een tussenstation uitstappen, maar het vervoersbedrijf mocht daar niet andere reizigers meenemen. Vanaf nu kan een reiziger bijvoorbeeld op het traject Parijs-Lissabon in Poitiers opstappen en in Bordeaux uitstappen. Busmaatschappij Eurolines heeft maandag de ticketverkoop voor 150 interregionale trajecten gestart. Om concurrentie met het treinnetwerk te voorkomen mag het aantal interregionale passagiers echter niet de helft van het aantal internationale reizigers overstijgen. Op 28 juni 2011 was Ubifrance aanwezig op de promotiedag voor Franse vakbeurzen dat georganiseerd is door Promosalons Nederland, de Nederlandse vertegenwoordiging van Franse vakbeurzen. De opdrachtgever van dit evenement is de ARD Ile de France, regionale ontwikkelingsmaatschappij van de regio groot Parijs, in het kader van de de campagne Paris Region Tradeshows, gericht op het promoten van internationale vakbeurzen in de regio Parijs. Vertegenwoordigers van onderstaande beurzen waren aanwezig: BATIMAT (Internationale vakbeurs voor de Bouw), INTERMAT (Internationale vakbeurs voor Bouwmaterieel), EQUIPAUTO (Internationale vakbeurs voor de automotive sector), POLLUTEC (Internationale vakbeurs voor milieutechnologie) en MIDEST (Internationale vakbeurs voor industriële toelevering).
