We are very glad to announce that MediaCorp , Singapore’ largest media broadcaster and provider with 8 television channels and 13 radio channels, has selected french company ENENSYS ’s equipment for its DVB-T2 trial network to prepare for DVB-T2 deployment.
MediaCorp will set up a trial network to showcase DVB-T2 MultiPLP capability in delivering SD, HD and 3DTV programs within a single frequency during Broadcast Asia 2011 held in Suntec Singapore from 21 to 24 June 2011. The trial network will subsequently be expanded for a DTV-T2 Trial commissioned by Media Development Authority of Singapore.
In this project, ENENSYS provides the DVB-T2 key elements:
the DVB-T2 Gateway, installed at the Head End site, used to adapt of the content to the DVB-T2 standard, to create the MultiPLP, to generate the T2-MI packets and to deliver the content to the transmitter sites in a synchronized SFN environment.
the DVB-T2 modulator, associated to the transmitter, receives the generated streams and configuration from the DVB-T2 Gateway and modulate it to a DVB-T2 signal, managing the different PLP.
It is a great reference for company Enensys, and one more testimonial to France’s leading capabilities for broadcast technologies.
Once again, we will be back on CommunicAsia & BroadcastAsia 2012 through a french pavillion and a B2B meeting platform

Cult French brand, A.P.C. opens its first store in Singapore at the Raffles Hotel Arcade on 27 April 2010. The occasion marks a milestone as the first stand-alone A.P.C. store to open in the South East Asia region.
In partnership with multi-label concept store Front Row, the new A.P.C. store will carry the full range of A.P.C. apparel and accessories for men and women, as well as the best-selling Raw Denim range. The new Petit Standard Stretch will also debut with the store’s opening. New A.P.C. product lines that were previously unavailable will also be stocked, including shoes and the highly anticipated Raw Denim Black.
Founded in 1987 by Tunisian-born Jean Touitou, A.P.C. (Atelier de Production et de Creation) is synonymous with modern and minimalist design. Simplicity rules in the pared down offerings, all of which are geared towards understated wardrobe essentials focused on the perfect fit. A.P.C. is renowned for its clean-cut, trim and narrow European-style fit.
Set in the colonial surroundings of the Raffles Hotel Arcade, the new A.P.C. Singapore store is designed by French architect Laurent Deroo, oft collaborator and designer of A.P.C. stores worldwide. The store features Deroo’s trademark birch wood style cladding with clean, minimal lines, affording the space an unfussy, pare-down aesthetic that A.P.C. is well-known for.
“Front Row has been an A.P.C. stockist for five years, and it remains one of the store’s best-selling and best-known brands. It was a natural progression to extend this fantastic partnership into its own stand-alone store, one that fully relays Jean Touitou’s understated design aesthetic and lifestyle philosophy,” says Ann Kositchotitana, owner of Front Row.
Singapore joins the ranks of A.P.C. stores worldwide including Paris, London, New York, Tokyo, Berlin, Stockholm and Los Angeles.
A.P.C. is located at Raffles Hotel Arcade, #02-08, 328 North Bridge Road, Singapore 188719.
