Massive Presence for French Clusters at the Bio International Convention

Clemence Dascanio - 21-mai-2012 20:46:25

The great BIO world meet, held in Boston this year, will once again be a showcase for booming French biotechnology which is asserting its position within the group of front runners driving the sector.  From June 18th to June 21th, there will be 90 companies, most of which belong to a competitiveness cluster, present in the French pavilion run by UBIFRANCE. Founded in 2005, competitiveness clusters assemble the foremost private or public players in their respective sectors, thus facilitating partnerships between the world of business and the world of research aiming at a common strategy in developing high potential technology. The seven clusters attending BIO 2012 are involved in specific avenues and have established numerous links with foreign clusters. France has set innovation at the heart of its economic and industrial policy. Competitiveness clusters provide efficient coordination of R&D and technology transfer by gathering in one place the players in the worlds of research, business and education. The idea is to make use of the synergies thus created and of collaborative, innovative projects to help the companies gain a favourable position on the world market. French biotech companies: businesses, research laboratories, clusters and public agencies will be attending BIO 2012 in Boston. They are the key players in those changes. Their dynamic approach is worth your interest. All of the issues will be addressed: infectious diseases immunology, genetics, inflammatory diseases, metabolic diseases,nutrition/health, orphan diseases, cancer, CNS, etc. More information on our website .
