RONIS developed four product ranges which offer a large number of locks adaptable to any hazardous components requiring to be manipulated in a specific order. These systems can be tailored to companies’ specific needs. From locking isolator controls to access locks (flaps, doors, covers, etc.), including locking systems for circuit-breaker switches, inverters or transformers, the interlock range by RONIS was specifically designed for maximum safety. The locks are interdependent: - each hazardous component is protected by one or more locks, - each lock can only be opened with its own specific key. - a key will not be available to open a given lock if the preceding lock was not correctly released The system therefore is the most secure as the locks are mechanical and highly reliable; each operation is carefully integrated into a complete process. The keys prevents prevent any infringement of the required procedure and eliminate any risk of error. These systems are made entirely of metal, using high quality, durable materials chosen to ensure maximum reliability. Built around a sturdy stainless steel case able to withstand difficult environments, each interlock has a brass cylinder pin-tumbler offering a wide range of keying combinations. A brass key completes the system for optimal security. And RONIS now has a new key center: the ELC board enables to activate and release one or more keys by introducing them sequentially and requires having them manipulated in a specific order. Equipped with at least seven cylinders, the ELC board is more compact, easier to set up or transport. It is now available in three models: 7 to 12 cylinders, 13 to 18 cylinders, 19 to 24 cylinders.   RONIS also developed a new type of reversible key with over 80,000 secure combinations, which makes it harder to copy.   About RONIS A subsidiary of the SECURIDEV group, RONIS is specialized in locking systems for industrial applications. RONIS generates 50% of its sales through export. The company does business in Europe and in many other countries through specialized distributors able to meet any request for after-sales service or replacement of single-unit items. Chicago, June 2, 2011 (word count: 472) The 2011 IOSC was of great importance for the International Oil Spill Prevention, Response and Clean-up industry, and just one year after the Macondo incident, the show proved to be one of the most significant. The 2011 IOSC French Delegation was made up of members of SYCOPOL, a French organization comprising equipment manufacturers and service providers engaged in pollution control. And CEDRE, a non-profit  association responsible, on a national level, for documentation, research and experimentation on pollutants, their effects and the response means and tools that can be used to combat them. Well known to the industry, are the consequences of the Gulf of Mexico oil spill. Oil and Gas operators have been forced to adopt more rigorous safety standards for offshore drilling and exploration. New products and technologies will need to be evaluated to comply with these new requirements. The French companies present at the IOSC this year brought an array of possibilities and expertise to the table. This year, UBIFRANCE–French Trade Commission, along with the SYCOPOL, brought a delegation that exhibited at the show. France has been present at IOSC in past years to showcase their knowhow, products and services. And as always, the experience acquired since 1967 due to the country’s involvement in seven of the most serious accidents worldwide (such as the Prestige and Erika) was evident. The country’s products and material have been successfully tested during oil spills around the world. During the week of May 23 26, UBIFRANCE organized special events for the delegation and their guests. U.S. companies (Marine Pollution Control, Clean Caribbean, Ecosystem Management and Aqua Guard) and government entities (USCG, NOAA, BOEMBRE) were invited to a networking dinner cruise. Great conversations and exchanges were held in an intimate setting while traveling along the Willamette River. Furthermore, during the show, the delegation had a breakfast “a la française” and champagne on the booth for friends, new contacts and fellow exhibitors, where once again, the delegation was able to entertain and share their expertise with their guests.  French delegation members:  - R.E.P. - Ecoceane - Nymphea - Thomsea - Sycopol - Cedre - Total France will continue to develop equipment and new techniques for the oil spill prevention, response and clean-up industry. Therefore, as they did in 2010, French entities SYCOPOL and CEDRE, will be present in London at the 2012 Interspill Expo and will also organize and sponsor the event. CEPI Develops Peroxide-Resistant Coating for Cleanroom Renovation

Ubifrance Press USA - 24-mai-2011 17:04:46
Press Releases
  New Technologies, Innovation and Services

Biotech

CEPI (European Industrial Paint Centre) is specialized in the restoration and renovation of wall coatings in laboratories and cleanrooms. It has patented a coating intended to meet the requirements of businesses that use peroxide decontamination. CEPI already works with many world-class laboratories and is planning on expanding into the United States this year. It will be initiating contacts with American biotech companies on the occasion of the BIO International Convention in Washington, D.C., from June 27 to 30, 2011. CEPI will be exhibiting at the show with Bretagne International on the French Pavilion at booth 2505. In most cases, spraying peroxide when decontaminating cleanrooms can cause damage to the paint on the panels and partitions in the rooms. The cracks that subsequently appear in the coating threaten the cleanliness of the environment used for manufacturing products and can be detrimental to their quality. CEPI has developed a patented coating which is resistant to hydrogen peroxide organic decontamination. It is the only one on the market in being able to prevent sandwich boards  that are being subjected to disinfectant sprays from frittering away, and in guaranteeing a controlled atmosphere over the long term. CEPI has worked out a lower-cost intervention technique that bypasses the need to disassemble panels and that avoids having to interrupt work in the laboratories being treated. CEPI technology can apply to white rooms and cleanrooms, in negative and positive cold rooms, and in production rooms. As a member of ASPEC, the French Association for the Prevention and Study of Contamination, CEPI has an approach focused on quality, safety and environmental friendliness.
